Honestly it’s also just the newest big name games that are that high price. Lots of smaller indie games cost less and you can get more out of them. Case in point Stardew Valley is a cosy Farming/Life simulator you can get hundreds of hours out of… $15 full price and it goes on sale a lot.

Bravely Default Flying Fairy was a launch title at only $50 and Cyberpunk 2077 was I think $70 but it included all DLC in it. Legit the only game I have seen cost $80 is Mario Kart World and I didn’t even pay $80 for that. My brother got the bundle so got it for $50 and I just played on his console.
