In the US, no one will get arrested until it becomes unavoidable. It's not like the rest of the world is moving much faster, tho; there've been a few firings but no arrests except for Andy & that didn't happen until 3-1/2 years after his protective mum died

The responsibility for holding Trump accountable during the past 10 years rests with the GOP majority who refused to convict Trump - twice, each time after he was impeached.

Incorrect. Garland *couldn't* prosecute Trump bc the FBI had an open investigation on Trump. Garland got fired, then the new FBI director discontinued the investigation.

Each state requires a certain number of signatures of registered voters to qualify a political party to appear on that state's ballot. So for example, you might find Libertarian or even the American Freedom Party on your state's ballot but not Independent

20.02.2026 14:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Agreed. There's a distinction between *voting* as independent and Independent as a *party* that has to gain enough signatures to qualify to be on any single state's ballot

My money's on a sudden uptick in unscheduled open-ended "vacations" to non-extradition countries like Russia, Qatar, Nicaragua, etc

Yeah, them dang illegals just love them those penthouse suites.

Hey, that's cool. 1000 of his Cabinet members & closest sycophants suiciding themselves all together? Don't threaten me with a good time

They manage "the act" bc women who want reliable wealth in exchange for being a beard find that an acceptable trade. A tiny bit of reluctant sex every so often to create offspring (assuming it's not someone else's) is no biggie

Back when I worked at the US Dept. of Labor in the Elaine Chao era, she put her hairdresser and publicist on the DOL payroll, so I assume the current SecLabor did same with her hubby

Has enough of the military been cultivated to obey illegal orders?

Alternate hypothesis: incarcerating people here = massive income for for-profit prisons aka GOP corporate donors

Does Trump want to get rid of Ivanka, Jr., Eric, & Barron that badly? I would too, but...

So, facing prison & the clear risk of an unanticipated "suicide" while in stir, I wager that Andy will soon become very chatty abt anyone but himself

Problem is, Trump didn't fall out of the sky fully formed. Each one of the ppl I mentioned (and even more) represents one extra step down the path that led us here. Same with Pinochet, Amin, Gaddafi, Mugabe - read details abt their activities & compare with Trump who *still* comes off as a wannabe.

Objection, Your Honor, assuming facts not in evidence. Also, logical fallacy of Straw Man. I know of precisely zero people who've "welcomed MTG into the resistance." The kindest thing anyone has said abt her is that she's like a broken clock. And should be trusted as such.

I must be older bc I sure did. Started with Nixon & his gang. John Tower, Strom Thurmond, Reagan, Poppy & W Bush, Cheney, Ollie North, Thatcher...boy does the list go on....

My wild guess for pedos = Roberts only. For money laundering, it's Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, & Gorsuch. For treason, Roberts, Thomas and Alito.

20.02.2026 00:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I disagree. See, e.g., Nuremberg trials, 1945, resulting in 12 death sentences + 7 prison sentences.

20.02.2026 00:06 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I don't blame anyone who can afford to move elsewhere but millions in the US don't have that luxury. Indigenous groups wouldn't leave their homes either. As for me, I took an oath to defend the US Constitution & I'll be damned if I run away because of these stupid fascists & their orange clown. YMMV

20.02.2026 00:02 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Also, voters, knock it off with the "if no candidate fulfills my personal preferences I won't vote at all" attitude - that's partly gotten us in the fascist situation we're in now. Your vote's your civic duty to select the candidate that meets most of the values that protect us from aurhoritarianism

What are you talking about? Most judges at most state & federal levels are appointed, not elected; and in municipal elections candidates often run unopposed. Do you have a specific example from somewhere?

19.02.2026 23:23 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

See, e.g., 2016's Sanders supporters, many of whom tried voting without registering, tried voting in states they didn't reside in, tried voting outside the correct voting period, etc. Who then got indignant when they were turned away.

19.02.2026 23:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

More on the last part: Don't align with a party = disqualify yourself from voting in some states' primaries. Everyone, check your state's laws before you try to do something you think is edgy.
