Yes, I know I've seen this. I needed something short to watch at the airport before my flight. It's still a very good movie: it did everything correctly that Unfriended did horribly. Lots of fun scares in it like the face filter and the music box.

It was all very fun and silly, though that was obviously the point.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: for all those years I was forced to do CCD, I should be allowed one Catholic superpower.

Also my second favorite insult comes from this movie.

Today's movie is The Exorcist, which I have seen, but we are discussing it in book club so. Yippee!

Night 26: Creep

Yeah. I know this isn't Fresh, but I took a nap, and also I have plans tonight. Let me live 😭😂

1. A friend made me Agatha for my birthday bc he knew I would cherish her. He was so right.

Wow. That was a total mind fuck but I loved every second of it. It reminds me a lot of Shadow Play from The Twilight Zone, which is one of my favorite episodes of TV ever.

Night 25: In The Mouth of Madness

This is the coolest gift I've ever seen. My friend had his siblings girlfriend clean roadkill for her skull. It's AMAZING

It's kinda like how urban legend and real crime intermingle. But I don't want to give it any sort of rating, as these were real children that went missing and were murdered on Staten Island.

Night 24: Cropsey

So, I made a mistake. This is just a real true crime documentary with eerie undertones. I was under the impression it was a faux documentary like The Last Broadcast. It was an interesting documentary to be sure.

All that being said, the movie did have potential. It was shot nice and I thought all the actors did fine. I think it just died with the hodge podge story.

There was a faux documentary, an analog horror film, a detective story, a witch story, and an Omen/demonic child story. I think if you combined two of these, you could have a cool story. But ALL of them? It was a lot of whiplash.

Night 23, Part 2: Shelby Oaks

This movie has the exact opposite problem Piggy has: it has way too many formats going on at once. I feel like five potentially cool movies were piled into one movie.

There was a time where bully revenge fantasys would have been enough to satiate me but...idk. This story line really needed more. But it was fine, I guess.

Honestly? It was fine, I guess. I think I got kind of bored. Like it needed more than her harboring her guilt to make this film more substantial?

Tomorrow's a two part day: Piggy and Shelby Oaks

Very nostalgic type of movie, even though I have never seen it before. It's cheesy and corny, true, but a good watch. I really think they did good with the tension tho, with the sand worm things and flat surface. It made open land seem dangerous. Very fun times.

Night 22: Tremors

"Who died and made you Einstein?"

Wow, that is probably the most American movie I have ever seen. Cowboy type guys, doomsday people with a huge gun collection, small southern town, Reba McEntire. That was a fun time.
