A new low for innocuous injuries that come with age - I hurt my knee whilst simply *standing at the toilet* last night. I wasn't even moving!

Tip for anyone working on an iPad or similar in this 'orrible hot weather: I use one of these twistable neck fans underneath to stop it from completely turning into a red hot slab.

No, these are nabbed from the eBay link. Think my copy probably went the way of my Beano collection when mum chucked them out. Which is fair enough, I never took the sweets off the front so they'd all melted and fused with neighbouring issues.

God, wasn't the past good?! I wish I experienced creativity now in the same way I did when I was 12.

I tried making proper 3D comics but I don't think I could do it so I stuck to left eye/right eye animations, like one I remember of Beavis and Butthead having a fight. I remember how incredibly and futuristic that technology felt at the time!

Aha! Also, @wretchedmorgan.bsky.social are you thinking of The Simpsons sticker book? I remember one 4 piece sticker that had Homer and Marge telling off the kids, but when you looked through the other lens it was Bart and Lisa as the adults and Homer and Marge as the kids. Loved that book!

Did you ever have that Flintstones movie tie-in comic where you looked through one side of the 3D glasses to see it drawn 'realistically' and through the other so see it in the traditional cartoon? I bet you did.

I was drawing stuff like that (with red/blue pencils) for ages afterwards.

Before everyone jumps back on the Jeremy Corbyn bandwagon, I'd recommend you take a look at the Green Party and how they've been responding to things lately - for example that all 4 Green MPs voted against proscribing Palestine Action and have vocally eviscerated the government's shady tactics to get them proscribed. I'm particularly impressed with Ellie Chowns, who you can follow on Instagram to get a sense of what they're about. People also think they'll never get enough votes to have influence but they have 859 seats on 181 councils, gaining 41 from Lab/Con at the last County Council Elections. They've had divisions over trans rights in the past but cut ties with those elements and have been critical of the equality bill. So yeah, support Corbyn's new venture by all means but let's not pretend they're the only viable left wing option.

Lots of buzz about Corbyn's new party but let's not forget the Greens.
