I will not let me anger burn away my love and goodness, I will not let it turn me into the monsters I detest.

I will continue onward toward the intention of being a beacon of truth and care for myself and all beings.

A motivation to transcend the cyclical nature of this wretchedness, through wisdom and compassion.

I will grieve, I not react from my anger, but use it as a guidepost to navigate what is not okay, and the path forward to protect lives and do less harm.

Within my anger is a deep love for humanity.

It’s so tempting to be absolutely fucking destroyed by what’s happening politically in the United States of America.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking — and we need to continue onward. Feeling the pain, keeping our hearts opening, and letting it awaken us so deeply into a steadfast motivation.

This painting was inspired by an experience I had during Śavasana meditation after a yoga asana session.

This painting is pretty epic, I t’s 4’x4’. Called “Heart Center”.

It’s from my Journey Through the Energy Centers series. Using an intuitive art making process, I focused on each part of my body using the idea of chakras as the frame work. It was pretty fun!

This right here is the love of my life, Winslow.

Still to this day my favorite photo of us, I can’t believe I convinced him to do this!

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.

His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.
