Für mich als "einfacher Bürger" ist die relevantere Frage: Wer hat überhaupt Einblick darin, ob das geschieht? Journalisten kriegen auch nur gefilterte Informationen.

Alles, was mir dazu einfällt, ist, es an öffentlichen Taten messen - am Beispiel Deutschland zB das Ergebnis der Wehrdienstreform.

Denn auch dafür gäbe es gute Gründe. Und von außen wäre es vom Davonlaufen vor der Realität schwer zu unterscheiden, weil erfolgreiches Hinauszögern verlangt, sich nicht in die Karten schauen zu lassen.

Naivität und Realitätsverweigerung laufen insofern aufs Selbe hinaus, als dass sie eben nicht das Hinauszögern des Unvermeidlichen sind - in vollem Bewusstsein, dass es unvermeidlich ist.

Glauben Sie wirklich, die Mehrheit der politischen Kaste in Europa ist so naiv, und Macht nicht lediglich gute Mine zum bösen Spiel, solange man sich (noch) abhängig fühlt von dem USA?

Und dann ist es sehr wohl die verfassungsmäßige Aufgabe des Militärs, sich gegen die verfassungsfeindliche Seite zu stellen - und das kann explizit auch die Regierung sein.

Die Amerikaner ein inhärent widerspenstiges Volk. Wenn das Militär nicht den 2. Bürgerkrieg auslöst (was auch nicht seine verfassungsmäßige Aufgabe ist), werden es die Bürger tun.

Genau das ist die *Idee* die Trump in den Köpfen verankern will. Das quasi alles schon gelaufen ist, und Widerstand ohnehin zwecklos.

Aber nur weil er das kommuniziert, heißt das noch lange nicht, dass es stimmt.
