Today, it is protesters blocking a road during the Calyoquot Sound protests in 1993.
These protests against logging protected the temperate rainforest, which is now a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Photograph of an old-looking classic car. It's a bright, pastel blue colour with chrome accents, and the roof is white and appears to be a convertible.

Also saw a pretty nicely kept old vehicle today. Colours on cars like these always make me wish manufacturers did more than just white/black/grey all the time.
