Eurasian Hoopoe I just love how many times wildlife just pops up and surprises me. I'd never even heard of this bird until i saw it, and it was a real delight to watch it hop around on the ground in search of a tasty morsel. It eventually found some sort of snail and hopped off merrily. It wasn't so easy to photography though as it was in the shade and was moving pretty rapidly and constantly - I was just happy to get any sort of usable photo, such a beauty. Buy Print
