All in all it's been a fantastic conference and it's felt like a real privilege to participate - it was a delight to meet and learn from so many wonderful and clever people. A huge thank you to Tomara Youngblood, NumFOCUS, and all the volunteers and organisers who make this event possible.

I enjoyed facilitating a chilled out Humble Data workshop were we discussed everything from the best way to teach Python versioning to the dearth of foreign language skills in the UK before finally wrapping up with the volunteer dinner 🧵

Ian Ozsvald lead an engaging session for data leaders were I participated in a roundtable about difficult discussions and learned a lot being a fly on the wall whilst senior leaders discussed some of the hardest parts of their jobs 🧵

Tim Paine took us on a LoTR flavoured tour of all the useful templating things you can do with Copier 🧵

In the first full talk of the day Elizabeth Osanyinro spoke about how we can build inclusive machine learning models 🧵

There were some fantastic lightning talks and my favourites were Jason CHAO and Briar Adams sharing personal projects they'd been working on 🧵
