Still buzzing after the TU Dublin Research & Innovation Awards earlier this week, our case study Seeing the Future: Harnessing Stakeholders’ Voices to Tackle Childhood Myopia picked up a Research Impact Award.
Really proud of this one and how people engaged with our work. 💙

I shared some thoughts on daylight in my RTE Brainstorm piece (www.rte.ie/brainstorm/2...) and will be joining the Daylight Academy panel (daylight.academy/daylight-awa...) this Tuesday (Nov 4) to discuss light exposure & eye health. Feel free to join it’s going to be very interesting!

Bit of a catch-up post, it’s been a busy few months!
Been deep in PhD work at TU Dublin, analysing Child Eye Health Study data, wrapping up our myopia & lifestyle survey (500+ responses) and drafting papers on BMI, activity & children’s vision.
Plenty of exciting findings taking shape 👀☀️

Over 400 responses so far to our survey on myopia, physical activity & screen time in kids!
We’re still keen to hear from parents, teachers/coaches and optometrists — your insights are vital.
10–15 mins, anonymous, part of my PhD at TU Dublin.
