Here's what a Cheetolini voodoo doll looks like when exposed to flame. Made of fat, starch and hot air, and hence a considerable flame. As much as I avoid practices based on poor or absent evidence, in this case it was worth a try!

Mark Carney’s Speech- Interpreted for 5 yr olds – Spitfire Research Inc.

Trolls and bots Canadian and otherwise, have been distorting the message of the brilliant speech @mark-carney.bsky.social gave at Davos. So here's the speech's main points, explained by AI so a 5 yr old can get the gist: spitfireresearch.com/mark-carneys...

Tough to imagine how any American listening to that Davos speech could have heard anything other than the ravings of a dementia patient, crying out for the 25th Amendment. Checks and balances better start checking and balancing, pronto!

How anyone could listen to that Davos speech and not hear the ravings of a dementia patient crying out for the 25th Amendment, is totally beyond me. Wake up, Americans- your president needs replacement, immediately.

Here's why DAC will NEVER be a solution. Making fuels from their combustion products using electricity is thermodynamic idiocy. Using DAC as the CO2 source doubles the stupid.https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-direct-air-capture-sucks-good-way-paul-martin/

Why Can't Batteries Store More than Four Hours Worth of Power? TL&DR Summary: they can. But the economics of energy storage depend on the application, and no energy storage option makes cheap kWh unless it is used to deliver enough kWh.

Why can't batteries store more than 4 hrs worth of electricity? Well, they can- but how frequently you cycle them, determines how cheap each kWh returned from storage will be. www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-ca...

There, I fixed it for you, nuclear bros. Seems you failed basic data analysis and statistics, or at least ignored it when it didn't make a happy story for your industry. Nukers aren't getting cheaper in China- they're just way cheaper to build there than anywhere else. Like everything.

Much better, and more likely to make money, if you do what Monolith is doing, and sell a valuable carbon product for $1/kg, than to bury it at any level of subsidy imaginable. And they're within 100 miles of 40% of ammonia users in the USA, so they have a market for their hydrogen already.

Methane pyrolysis is a carbon-producing technology. Make a valuable carbon product? Then you will make money, maybe- but the scale of your H2 production will be limited. Throw away your carbon into low value applications? You will not make money. www.linkedin.com/pulse/hydrog...

Tesla is rattling around $234, but if it had twice the P/E of Toyota it would be $30. Fan-boys will buy it all the way down. It's a meme stock, not an investment, and hasn't been one for years. Stop funding the narcissist CEO - if you own it, ditch it, like you did your X account.
