Thank you! It definitely took me a bit to get over the quirks of zbrush. A lot of "why does it do it like this when every other program does it like this?!"

Fighting with a new piece of software is always part of the process.

I've embarked into learning zbrush, excuse the chrome texture. But this is the first project. Following along with tim bergholz's tutorials. I've got a project in mind after I really get the basics figured out.

The sock level gave me a good chuckle.

I really wish the via rail was better. The Canadian rail system has seen better days.

The last thing I wanted to showcase from the star wars food stand was the droid. All the different arrangements were fun to model. Especially happy with the torch heat gradient.

Something I've never done is good, so getting the chance to do it in my latest project was a lot of fun.

I've been trying to solve this problem for months, and had written off as "that's just the way it is". I was days away from posting on artstation. The page was already created and I just needed to post It, after I finished my breakdown video. (The purpose of the livestream) Now I can fix it!

So today, I went over the model to see where I lost it. (Many saves ago back in December) Was able to reimport to the current version of the model. Then investigated further and found the normals were wrong on it. Making it appear completely black in the final renders.

Last night I did a livestream of a breakdown of my current project. Found a massive error in one of my UVs I was showing off. It was just missing. Which was frustrating and embarrassing but very helpful to go over the steps live and out loud. (Doesn't matter if anyone was watching)
