Finding my subconscious patterns as logical mistakes in my story, aaargh

Anyway, I regard outlines as cheap text, some sort of 0th draft, that lets me experiment with the story quickly.

Experimenting with PoV, tone, presence, etc is a different dimension, outlines can't help with that. But experimental paragraphs can.

I guess it was a good idea to keep the outlines of this story, for it'll be easier to rewrite.

Or am I missing the chance to find something in the previous revision that I'd wish to reuse? I guess I'll never know.

On the other hand, when writing a story, asking 'why' helps you to reveal the motives of your characters, the mood and the theme of your story. This helps to find purpose in a random sequence of events, and that's why storytelling has a healing effect.

When thinking about the upsetting past, asking 'why', more precisely 'Why? Why? What was the meaning of all this shit?' sends you down the rabbit hole. This shit usually has no purpose.

Deliver in small increments?

I guess I'll need a short break. It'll be either poetry or translation. Improving my prose just isn't stimulating enough.

I hope that I don't annoy my friends too much. My mind just needs to munch on something, and then I write it down in a couple of paragraphs. That's how I exist.

This autumn I've been process the comments of my editor, and while this makes the text better, my mental health suffers. I started to produce ephemeral content, a lot of political mini-essays on social media.

Kinda, but we have a key

I spend my summers in a place that has one fence outside, but inside there are no fences between the houses. This place belongs to an NGO that was founded by working-class activists in mid-20th century, and I'm telling this because you look like folks I typically see there.

I'll probably write about it later, for now all I can tell that we didn't need AI to develop code faster. This is probably because most of us are experienced developers and writing code wasn't our bottleneck.

The last couple of weeks at work were interesting: somehow I started to enjoy this again. I especially liked how I helped to speed up my team.

Once a dictatorship that took power in a coup, always a dictatorship that took power in a coup. But now that the PA has asked the world for help restoring its legitimate rule over ALL of Palestine, Hamas' days are numbered.

I just don't handle help-o-holes well. These are people who give unsolicited advice when I'm doing something comfortably within my competence. They usually don't handle well 'stop' and 'no', but they insist that they wanted to help.

So I tell them, 'here is how you can help', and they just don't.
