With the #AllForCity win tonight over Nashville, David Critchley now has more league wins (3) than Olof Melberg (2) in 1/3 less games.

He also has 10 points from 10 games compared to Olof’s 11 from 15.

That’s a 1.0ppg for Critch compared to 0.73ppg for Olof.

B. The stutter-step PK needs to be outlawed. A hideous wart on the beautiful game. Just step up and take your shot.

Watching broadcast of the #AllForCity game:

A. Mukhtar went down way too easily in the box to draw the PK, similar to his attempt to draw a penalty he DID NOT get in the first half. Hate it when it's obvious to everyone that a player is trying to draw a PK and gets away with it.

I tell ya what, Padelford has a whip for a throw-in. Could we finally have a long-thrown-in specialist to turn deep offensive throw-ins into set pieces? #AllForCity was deferring all throw-ins to him tonight. #STLvNSH

First-ever win against Seattle. Had to hold a tenuous lead late. Crowd was electric down the stretch like ‘23.

Was going to add what you alluded to:

cleaning house makes a difference only if you seriously do it. You can’t just fire assistant coaches or get rid of the worst player on the team.

I’d rather do away with the game altogether and just have the league name a mid-season All-Star XI.

Give everyone a much-needed summer week off. Everyone has a busy May, so do the break sometime in June or closer to the natural midpoint of the season.

Truly is a “cut off your nose to spite your face” situation.
