Any tips to help a fellow maths teacher? I am really struggling with mixed ability classes. I have a series of questions for those with advice.

I decided to get a new hobby, growing bonsai from seeds or saplings. Great, except it turns out they will probably take 10 years to get to the desired outcome. I'm sticking with it, but I might need another new hobby! #bonsai

Another reason for letting students finish their answers fully. Today a student got to the penultimate step when simplifying and I nearly said "which gives us 3x+2". Thankfully I did not and the student added an extra line, 5x.
