Ex-employee says people dying while on wait list for Lumsden addictions centre
The province's largest publicly-funded, privately-run addictions treatment centre is being criticizing for not filling to capacity.
A former admissions coordinator for what would have been the biggest addictions treatment centre in Saskatchewan said she knew of four people who died while on the waiting list. One was a close friend.
The Lumsden facility hasn't taken any in-patients since it opened last spring.
