Putin played Trump. He got his photo op on American soil, washing away his war criminality. He made no commitments to end the war. And he suffered zero consequences. What a day for Putin.

Complete disgrace. Hope this betrayal of American democracy and our international treaty obligations makes it into an article of impeachment.

The Putin-Trump meeting was a disaster, as predicted. Putin got everything he wanted: a photo op legitimizing his war crimes, no ceasefire, and no sanctions or new weapons for Ukraine.

Trump's goal was to keep Putin happy. He succeeded.
