I opened my front door, and it looked and, especially, sounded like the Arctic tundra. So, I came back inside where I'll be for the next 2-3 months.

This made me laugh. Of course, the person who I live with isn't home right now, so it was safe to do... oh wait, I hear the front door. Crap!

I was having breakfast with a Millennial friend today and this was on repeat in the restaurant. My friend was intrigued by my love of this soundtrack, so I explained why Vince Guiraldi matters. That music is simply good for the soul! ❤️

I mean...Linus is *literally* telling the story of Christmas in a Christmas special. Literally. The guy's name is in the holiday. I fail to see the problem.

Borrowing the basic theme of your question, I got the soundtrack to STM after it came out, and I found the slower tracks "Leaving Home" and "Love Theme to SUPERMAN" to be incredibly boring. As an adult, those two tracks frequently move me to tears.

I love your take on this. SUPERMAN THE MOVIE is possibly my favorite movie, and that specific take on the two characters and their shared moment is wonderfully insightful. Also, I applaud your ability to reflect on yourself with such candor and grace!

Actually, I've held this exact same thought for the longest time that the X-Men's premise doesn't make sense in the context of the larger Marvel Universe. How exactly is the average person supposed to distinguish between mutants and non-mutants, especially without knowing them?

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
