And some people claim this is what they want?! More than once I’ve seen comments in my community, “this is what I voted for!” The cruelty is gross.

It’s unbelievable, unbearable, and inhumane.

The amount of anger I feel about my neighbors in the Chicagoland area being harassed, terrorized, and abducted by 🧊. 😡

I am ready to video and literally on guard for every dark SUV or out-of-state plates I see in my neighborhood or where I’m working in schools. This is terrible.

Tbh, the app could be easier to navigate but it’s ok. That why I usually have to look at the online program too.

For speakers, I think you can log into “speaker ready room” and find out your room and room capacity. Not sure there ante really any other guidelines.
For program, I usually look at it online and then also download the app where I can click on things I’m interested in and make my schedule.

Agree! Taking care of houseplants or outdoor gardens feels hopeful.
Plus I like that I’ve been able to share food I’ve grown with neighbors. Another thing that makes me feel connected in a difficult world.

I pulled out my cucumbers from the garden and planted some fall crops (lettuce and beets), they started sprouting! 🌱

We have normalized experiencing the preventable.
I see it in many aspects of life.
Common sense ceases to be common.
Basic human courtesy is foreign.

I see this poster get asked about a lot in a teacher FB group.

I don’t want to yuck someone’s yum but this poster is so old, it just has to be outdated. Right? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a kid even give it a second look? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe it’s feels nostalgic to the teacher? Which is ok.

I’m also lucky enough to be able to attend conferences and get to see people there. It always makes me wonder how in the world newer teachers would ever get that type of community?!

Do you think you’ll keep your posts on a blog or move to a new platform? I decided to head over to Substack and feel like it’s given my writing a new life.
It’s also easier for me to read others work. It’s like the new “blog roll”
