It would prevent you from switching to keyboard without verifying there is no input from throttle, adds parking break to taking the keys out of the ignition (I key to disable thrusters so it don't float away)

If your hotas has that lil adjustment tuning wheel set that to speed control absolute and dial that thing to zero like a parking break, will force you to check throttle before you're even able to take off.
