Dead special! As a teenager I found one or two on a Sparrowhawk’s butchering post at Bolam, but never again since, until 2 years ago and then one a year since! All Rising Sun CP. Amazing variety of shape too! Here’s to next years!

RT divers , Greenshank, plenty Cuckoos and Hooded crows, Ravens’ ‘cronking’ in the mountains,Golden eagle at 3000’ dazzling Male Redpoll, plenty Siskin, Pair Wheatear (rare this year!) Bonxy patrolling coast, 20+ summer Dunlin.
