A table of my runs for 2025. It shows 9 runs, each with a distance of about 10km and an elevation gain of about 150m. The first run has a time of 47:35, which is my best. All of the other runs have times between 50-56 minutes.

I've been trying so hard to run at 10k in under 50 minutes and today was the day! 47:35! I think my best time ever was around 43 mins, but that was in my 20s when everything was easier 😅

Was meant to be going to North Carolina from Baltimore, but my train was cancelled so I headed to DC instead. Loved it! Honestly, it coulda been a European capital: ✅ history, ✅ good metro system, ✅ loads of queer people, ✅ bars and restaurants

I had to check I wasn’t making stuff up with the price in the UK. And you get double the amount. Literally how do people afford this?

Had to press a little button to get someone to open a case so I could spend $10.50 on deodorant that costs me £3 in the UK 😵

Oooop should have mentioned that. Flew into New York, headed down to New Orleans, then up to Chicago, and across to SF and LA. I’m not sure I could hack the timezone changed going west to east lol

Left Philadelphia and arrived at Baltimore. This is my shortest train journey at just over an hour 😬

That’s starting to sink in lol. I feel like I could spend six weeks in the north east alone, and I’m still not sure how I can be on a train for 11hrs and still in the same country 😅
