Russia's attack on 31 July becomes the deadliest on the capital this year. The deadliest attack since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on Kyiv occurred in December 2023 when 33 people were killed.

The death toll in Kyiv following the latest Russian strike has risen to 16, including a 6-year-old child and a 17-year-old teenager. The number of injured has reached 159, with 16 children among them.

Kharkiv after russian glide bomb attack earlier today. The number of injured people has risen to 33.

Russians hit a high-rise building in Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb, injuring one person, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.

"There are reports that people are trapped under the rubble. The second hit was on a civilian enterprise. There is a fire," he wrote.
