I'm at the Betsy-Tacy Convention with my mom and truly this is such a gift to have time with her, learning about her favorite book series. This is so niche.

Watching the Okoboji Writers Retreat unfold gives me hope for Iowa and the country even. This part of my job does not suck.

If you enjoy the thrill of panic cleaning for company right before they show up, you should try running a retreat center with limited staff in the shoulder season. The cabins were clean but alas, the spiders have taken over.

This is not important at all. After using mayo for a couple years, I switched back to miracle whip. Everything tastes right again. Mom was right the whole time. #tangyzip

I don't throw down Rev before my name often but I did on a note I left for the Bible Conference folks staying at our retreat center this week. Three conversations as a result of that note have reminded me how grateful I am for the Presbyterian Church USA & my particular flavor of theology.

Today I hit a 21 day streak of meeting my step, activity minutes, and calorie burning goals. 🔥 This likely will not hold all summer because of my ridiculous summer camp schedule, but it feels good to hit 3 weeks of being healthier. ❤️

Word on the street is that I have a beautiful colon. Get a colonoscopy if you can. The nap is fantastic and it was the best damn toast.

Having to take your 2024 Bronco Sport to the Ford service department because of a 4wd fault alert and problem with the shocks is so frustrating. This car is too new and too cute to have these problems.
