You will have learnt that the Police call in the OWG when they suspect that a case involves not just foul play but unnatural forces at play. But if you haven’t read any of the books so far, now is a good time to start, as serious events unfold.

25.07.2025 07:00 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Or, perhaps you have read Simon Kewin’s books about the workings of the OWG, following investigations based out of the Cardiff Office, from the perspective of one of their agents, Danesh Shahzan (not his real name).

25.07.2025 07:00 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Were you surprised by any of that? If not, then you are either a magic user who has been avoiding the OWG, an OWG operative, or perhaps a member of the OBV.

25.07.2025 07:00 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

For years they have managed to misdirect the OWG and stay under their radar. But no longer. OWG agents are intent on destroying them. So now, they are determined to put an end to the continued existence of the OWG.

Did I mention vampires? You surely know that in the British Isles vampirism is strongly associated with the aristocracy. A small cabal of the undead is essentially in control of the power of the state. They call themselves, with no little irony, the Order of the British Vampire (OBV).

25.07.2025 07:00 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Of course, despite the name, OWG agents are no longer hunting down witches to burn at the stake or drown in a ducking stool. In fact, most of their investigations are to do with revenants, poltergeists, and demonic creatures, not to mention vampires.

Would you be surprised, if I told you that the Witchfinder General is still a UK Government appointed position?
That HM Office of the Witchfinder General (OWG) is headquartered in 13 Downing Street (only accessible through 12 Downing Street or via a secret tunnel from 10 Downing Street)?

As much a dark fairytale as an uplifting coming of age story, Mira’s odyssey encompasses magic, mayhem, sorrow, joy, terrors, revelations and a talent for making chocolate. But it all starts with a golden key…

We are thrilled to be able to reveal the cover of Keith Miller’s new novel, The Witch’s Journey, which we will publish next month. As you may deduce from the title, the story follows a journey – physical, emotional, and β€˜spiritual’ – that a young girl, Mira, undergoes to discover who she really is.

If populists sweep to power in the UK, what will really happen? The middle classes could be first in the firing line, says Alex Makepeace. We are delighted to announce the timely Canaries, his political thriller set in a Britain where a new government swiftly imposes its radical agenda.
