Neoliberal? Might want to have a look at all the infrastructure spending: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrast...

Or just, you know, read a newspaper and touch grass every once in a while.

This is what Republicans would like people to _think_ BLM and the mythical "ANTIFA" are. If they were to actually start doing it... the 2nd ammendment might go away quite quickly!

This doesn't sound like the tone of someone who is all together there. People accused Biden of having dementia/cognitive decline – the problem is that Trump is ALSO experiencing this, it's just that he does it in a way that involves pounding his chest like a baboon and doing stupid things.

Excerpt from an NYTimes article written by Ron Suskind, published Oct. 17, 2004

In the summer of 2002, after I had written an article in Esquire that the White House didn't like about Bush's former communications director, Karen Hughes, I had a meeting with a senior adviser to Bush. He expressed the White House's displeasure, and then he told me something that at the time I didn't fully comprehend -- but which I now believe gets to the very heart of the Bush presidency.

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

Every American policy decision makes much more sense once you realise that you are a member of the "reality-based community", and the political leadership is not.

Honestly that's the best case – the more likely case is that the CIA is now full of MAGA clowns who are weirdly effective.

It's got a name with such lovely sonic texture too: TRUMPFLATION. The word every Democrat must learn to sing from a collective hymn sheet as the prices rise!

Voters seem to lack object permanence: this is why they don't believe the "woke" experts when they say putting your hand in a big pot of boiling water is a bad idea until they get burned. Seeing is, as they say, believing.

Once again, I will point out that Hollywood standards for women have been bonkers since the dawn of time and women did not, for the most part, respond by joining the Nazi party

It's sarcasm. Although I guess at this point Republicans have kiled irony.

No, but it might have helped if the Dems had run someone better in 2016 (obvs Hilary would have been better than Trump, but she – understandably – wasn't very popular).

I think the problem is Republicans are like the "edgy" kids in the class who try to push the boundaries by saying stupid things. Except the teacher was Hilary Clinton and now the kids are burning down the school, waiting for the day somebody eventually reigns them in.

Why shouldn't civil servants take loyalty tests to the Republican party and its leader? Glad to see Americans are finally fighting of aspects of the woke mind virus such as the Constitution.

When Biden sounded demented on TV, I recall a lot of people making a BIG DEAL of it. Where are those people now when the President of the US cannot string a coherent sentence together?
