My brain literally cannot comprehend all of the bad stuff that just happened today so instead: scholastic book fair now has online wallets that you can use for your kiddos at the book fair- but also, you can donate to “share the fair” so others w/o can get books.

I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist

I fell in love with books when I was just 5 years old or so. It's funny but now I read digital books frequently. But there's something so comforting in holding, smelling, and reading a physical book. My son loves Manga and now he's into novels. It's brought me back to physical books. I love it.

My son is 18. He's recently gotten heavy into books. I love that he only wants physical books. It's so fun to watch this young kid not immediately turn to tech to read. He GETS it about the feel and smell and overall awesomeness about books.
