One of my favourite novels of all time. Unlike anything else. It's still stuck in my mind after over 30 years. One of the few books I couldn't put down. Read it.

I know there are amazing young artists around, but there's no such thing as original artwork now. Nice post on the other site by Robert Rodriguez about meeting Drew and buying an original. Drew refused to take money for Spy Kids work he'd done.

What I like about Drew's work was there was very rarely a spoiler alert, which is even apparent in at least one of the posters for the Hawks original. So many contemporary posters give the game away!

These days people will assume he used photoshop, or even worse, AI. Drew was an old school craftsman who despised those shortcuts.
