it's really a lot. i hate that it's this way but i'm so jealous of how easy it is to be cis. comparatively, life is so fucking easy

when i use the restroom i'm scared. when i go to the beach i have to stay by the sand because i can't wear any swimwear in public. when i get ready for the day, even if we're just going to rot, i *have* to do my makeup to stay sane. singing is uniquely embarrassing

i'm so used to spending time with other trans people that i don't really notice it anymore, but spending a week with exclusively cis(-passing) people is really eye-opening. being trans in this world really does just kind of make so many things most people take for granted so hard
