The base level without any additional tiles added

The same level with all the possible tile combinations layered on top in different colours

Each level has an open design for it's base, created on a tilemap. I then add more tilemaps which add platforms, block off paths and create unique platforming challenges. The additional tilemaps each have a chance to be added to the level when the scene is loaded.

When creating a level generator for Wibbly Witches, I had to find a unique solution to have levels that were different every time you play so you can't memorize them, and also have enough control over what can generate to make the best experience for the players. #gamedev #madewithunity 🎮
