Brennan Marion’s resume - he’s only 38 but has about 15 years of coaching experience, including five years as on OC:

It’s official!

There are most Colorado football staff announcements on the way and they could be impressive.

That’s what people are saying on YouTube at least…

Jackson Presley, a 3-star QB from Montana who signed with Sac State this week but decommitted today, was offered by Colorado in 2024.

One of Sac State’s top targets from 2026 is WR Tyren Hornes, who is currently uncommitted.

The 4-star Florida native is a top 25 WR and top 200 overall recruit in 2026.

Could the Buffs land him now that Brennan Marion will be OC?

They have all those positions committed with multiple recruits, all 3-star level.

I imagine we’ll see a number come with Marion, along with transfers of current players.

Good thing about this system isn’t was build to work with lesser talent as long as the effort and execution is there.

Welp it’s starting.

4-star WR Xavier McDonald and 3-star QB Jackson Presley have decommitted from Sacramento State.

Sac State had a 2026 class with 23 commitments, but only 11 have signed this week, including Jackson Presley.

Could we see Brennan Marion bring a number of recruits to Boulder?

It only took five days to show us he wasn’t lying…

Wow Cal hires Tosh Lupoi as their new HC.

Massive hire for a historically mediocre program(I grew up a Cal fan so I know).

Bears are about to have some serious talent in Berkeley and I know that fanbase will show up at Memorial Stadium to support.

Yeah the wishbone is the most recent predecessor but that goes back to the Dana X. Bible single-wing offenses of the 1940s and even back to Pop Warner is my understanding.

Marion puts the running backs together on one side of the QB to confuse the defense and make zone much more difficult.

05.12.2025 01:05 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Absolutely. It’s a combo of whiffing on the portal + bad coaching.

This hire to me shows Prime understands what needs to happen and that’s the most important thing imo.

Hah yeah the run or deep ball part definitely sounds like the Raiders.

My understanding is this offense has a lot of influences from those old wishbone offenses from the 60s and 70s.

Basically if everyone blocks correctly it’s unstoppable.

If you have 20 minutes, please give this a watch on Brennan Marion, who is reportedly becoming Colorado’s next OC.

This is an in depth piece on him from when they announced him as the Texas WR coach in 2022.

Was just texting my CU buddies that they should have brought him in for Salter last year.

100% that offense is no joke and confuses defenses and with the speed that Colorado has if they can retain certain pieces should be a sight to behold. Honestly pumped for next year.

Oh yeah get ready for some power football. And the deep ball.

Ok so I guess targeting isn’t the right word…

Colorado is hiring Brennan Marion as its next OC.

I can’t express how happy this makes me.

So far Coach Prime is batting 1.000 on staff replacements.

Fingers crossed he keeps it up.

Colorado is targeting Sacramento State head coach Brennan Marion to be its new offensive coordinator, sources tell Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.

If Coach Prime lands Marion, that’s a huge get for the program.

Before Sac State, Marion was the creator of the Go Go Offense at UNLV.

Colorado now officially has openings at OC and RB Coach as Marshall Faulk set to be introduced as the new Head Coach at Southern University today:

Colorado LB Mantrez Walker is entering the transfer portal.

Walker saw limited time as a true freshman in a linebacker room that was extremely underwhelming this season.

Coach Prime after Colorado finished the season 3-9:

β€œWe won’t be in this position again, I can promise you that”

Of course and thanks so much for chatting as always! Hoping next year we’re talking about more wins!

For sure man I appreciate it thanks for chatting all season!

While the Buffs fell short again, it was good seeing the team, especially the defense, play hard and compete to close things out.

A number of things went wrong this season in my opinion, with the major two issues being Coach Prime’s long absence due to health and missing the 2025 portal.

Thank you to everyone for following this account during a disappointing season for Colorado.

While this was a more traditional finish for the Buffs based on recent history, it was rough feeling the optimism from last year’s team fade as the season progressed.

Hope everyone enjoys the holidays!

Kaidon Salter’s last play as a college football player results in a sack and turnover on downs.

Colorado gives the ball back to KSU.

Buffs lose their final game of the season 24-14.

Colorado finishes 3-9, Prime’s worst season at the college level, edging out his inaugural campaign in Boulder.
