I think it probably makes a lower skill floor but the higher up you get I think it matters less/starts improving skill; at least I find it interesting to disagree with 17lands but maybe I just enjoy playing devils advocate

I’m personally a strong believer that my shenanigans let me analyze matchups and potential play patterns on less experience in them, fwiw

Stop getting upset about a format that is meant to be broken. Instead of calling for format leaders to constantly curate things for your benefit, focus on curating your own social environment/expectations.
