Literally the moment I opened the bag of seed I knew my fuck up. The "Lawn Starter" I bought was ONLY fertilizer, and all the "grass" I grew was just hay. No wonder it got crazy tall and sprouted little hay seed stalks.....

Threw down my barf patch of toilet paper and seed and also seeded the yard

I gave it a few weeks but eventually got some more grass seed at Costco after watching tic-tacs of the lawn guy mixing water, TP, and grass seed and it worked like a charm! How cool! I can try that on a particularly bad patch where the dirt was eroding!

Watered the hell out of the yard for another week, but damn if barely anything came up! There was so tall grass starting to grow, but nothing like my neighbor!

Went to Lowe's and saw the contractor bag but also saw this larger even cheaper bag of "lawn starter" and I assumed it was a mix of grass seed and fertilizer which seemed ideal! Got it, bought a spreader, went crazy, basically emptied a 40lb bag of it all over the yard.

My neighbor just laid down seed and his was coming up within a few days of watering it so I knew that I needed to put some fresh seed down and he recommended the contractor bag since neither of us care much about what kind of grass so long as it grows. I'm focused on preventing erosion for now.

We bought a house recently and the backyard supposedly was seeded already but it was just straw laid out when we moved in. I watered it for a week or so but nothing really came up.

Compost when started and about a week in. I rotated it too early but it's back to 110 or so, so I'm still happy.

I did get to put some custom modifiers on it and I was really happy with how that worked, aside from the failed supports! The hooks to put it on the pegboard were in fact sturdy where they did print.

I'm pretty sure the print failed mostly because I had to really press the nuts into the part. Very frustrating since I tested that and the gap was fine on my first test, but was beyond snug and required force on the final part... Worried I bent the plate but I think it just pressed it down a hair.

The pegboard hooks failed to print since the support was way too tall and it just wasn't stable enough. Maybe I could try tree supports next time but eesh, just gonna print it upside down I think next time...

I adjusted the wall thickness last night and forgot that it would adjust other dimensions so the lid now doesn't fit.

Let's just say that I think every single part of the print failed... :( the largest piece was 95% done and ready for me to embed the nuts into it, then the last 40 or so layers didn't adhere AT ALL, so the largest piece (600g) failed entirely.

Recently have been embarking on a quest to print out a filament container to keep it dry, store on the IKEA peg board, and have bearings and whatnot to swap out filaments inside it and run some tubing directly from it. It was also a test in embedding nuts into parts and printing large scale objects.
