Putting in the time daily is 80%. If you’re starting from zero, highly recommend Pimsleur. If you’re more intermed, I’m working on something called Jetway jetway.ai which may he helpful

iOS background audio demo ...

I ended up using a version of this workaround at the end of the day: codepen.io/matteason/pe... In addition to allowing background playback, it solves the issue where WebCode audio is muted.

IOS WebAudio only works on headphones I've been running into an issue now for a while where on some ios devices my webaudio system only seems to work with headphones where as other devices (exact same os, model, etc) the audio plays

@gruber.foo re: CarPlay - one anti-CarPlay argument I feel is missing is the complete shit scape that is navigating both CarPlay and car OS. Coming from the Tesla software world and using CarPlay, it seems like a major step back
