Close the ICE death camps!

The beauty of mass nonviolent resistance and mutual aid is that every kidnapping, every murder, every beating, every lie—the only weapons they have—invigorates our solidarity and commitment and weakens them. It turns their violence and propaganda inside out.

We’re winning and it’s not even close.

There are few examples of corruption more blatant than "Give us information that will allow us to skew the upcoming elections or we will continue to kill civilians."

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

Exactly. Keep calling. Congress cannot provide one more penny for ICE.

Dems need to push to revoke the tens of billions it already gave through last summer’s reconciliation bill.

I said this last time but their real position is “if you disagree with us we can kill you.”

I'm terrified of how many more good people are going to be killed by the fascists as they attempt to cling to power, but it's clear that at every turn, they vastly underestimate the number people willing to die on their feet rather than live on their knees.

They want footage of burning buildings and broken windows, not the video of a man executed after he was already on the ground. They want to turn this into a story about “violent protesters,” not about federal agents killing people in our streets.

People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.

Memory is a fragile thing in this moment, so it is important to keep in mind that Hakeem Jeffries refused to whip his caucus against ICE funding earlier this week.

The saddest part of this charade will be when @markwarner.bsky.social and @kaine.senate.gov vote "yea" on cloture so they can use the fig leaf of their futile "nay" on the merits to tell us they "resisted"

Yall outside of MN need to know that observers are STILL out protecting their neighbors. Right now. They know the news and they’re still out there.

By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

This is the reality of what ICE is doing with their $75 billion budget. Wouldn’t this be better spent on health care?

I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.

Democratic leaders need to fear being branded as collaborators more than they fear being called soft on crime

Democratic leadership is terrified of being seen on the side of the people of Minneapolis, least they lose the potential future support of pro-cop people whose support they do not and never will have.

Would love to hear democrats en masse declare that he *should* be impeached for this. Whether it can happen or not (and the whole world knows it can’t) it would sure be nice to see opposition forces actually opposing. But while he’s talking about annexation Dems just talk about grocery prices?!?
