happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

No need to imagine. The country incarcerates children as young as 9 years old daily in youth prisons and jails. Those children are routinely sexually and physically assaulted and also emotionally tortured. They are fed terrible food and given barely any education. This country has done this for yrs.

ICE Denies Detainee's Request to Attend His Son's Funeral, Attorney Says Maher Tarabishi was the primary caretaker of his son, Wael Tarabishi, 30, who died on Friday, Jan. 23, from complications related to Pompe disease.

Maher Tarabishi, who has been detained by ICE since October, was the primary caretaker of his disabled adult child, Wael.

On Jan. 23, Wael died from complications related to Pompe disease, a rare genetic condition.

ICE has now denied Maher’s request to attend his funeral, his attorney says.

Something important to understand about ICE thugs in the Twin Cities is that they're harassing innocent kids and parents at bus stops and schools every single day. Even after the Pretti shooting. It's terrorism.

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas González in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

I think this a good time to remember that the only reason immigration laws exist in the first place is to suppress wages globally.
