ABA therapy is conversion therapy for autistic people. Both operate with the same goal in mind: to get the people being “treated” to behave “normally” so as to make others comfortable.
This is gross and offensive on every single level.
Both should be loudly rejected and banned.
Anti-vax logic check:
If vaccines cause autism, does that mean an autism vaccine (if one existed) would both cause and cure autism at the same time?

If you’ve already read it—thank you. If not, I’d be honored if you gave it a look. Maybe it’ll spark something in you too. 💬💡
Please check out the book I published earlier this year. In it, you’ll take a journey with Advocate and Socrates as they explore a multitude of issues autistic people face in the quest for social justice.

This was my very first book, and it came straight from the heart. It’s not just a collection of questions—it’s an invitation to pause, to dig deep, and to open up new dialogue with yourself and the world around you.

Every time someone buys my book, I’m genuinely humbled. I’m not on the New York Times Best Seller list (yet!), but knowing that these questions are reaching people—sparking thought, conversation, and maybe even transformation—means the world to me.

FYI
autism is a #neurotype
our #brains develop differently in utero
Our #neuralpathways form differently than #typical ppl
There is no such thing as “everyone is a bit autistic or OCD etc”
Saying this causes harm & distress
A friendly reminder of why you shouldn’t support Autism Speaks during Autism Acceptance month coming from an actual autistic. #boycottautismspeaks

I'm targeting March 1st for a release date (or the very least, a pre-order date) - just in time to take on the challenges of Autism Acceptance Month.
I am really excited about this book coming to life!
This book on autism advocacy is unlike any book you’ve read to date. Each chapter focuses on a different topic where the reader takes the place of an observer to a dialogue between the two main characters - Socrates and Advocate - as they travel and engage with other characters.
