the occoquan exit on 95 is the bane of mu existence every time i travel to and from baltimore. i type this as i sit practically parked at it at 9 in the morning on a sunday.

i want a new job so bad. which is not to say i don’t appreciate the one i have. i just want a different one. with some growth potential, a higher salary and more compatibility with my skill set.

sooo, the lack of realism persists into every plot point. not dying in the frozen lake in a satin slip turned out to be a portent of the 80 additional minutes to come.

i will say this male lead in finding joy is one of the more handsome, normal-looking men in a TP movie.

sadly, this dialogue is sabotaging any kind of performance he might’ve otherwise been able to deliver.

mind you, mark, the lake immediately froze over when she fell in. and her rental car went in right before her…?

this, of course, isn’t the most implausible TP scene ever. that record is still held by the one at the 8-minute mark in divorce in the black.

tyler perry films ain’t rooted in *no* kinda reality. never have been. how’d he fix his final draft pro to type a scene where a lady in a sarin slip dress and pleather trench coat falls into a frozen lake for an undisclosed amount of time and just wakes up w/o frostbite, hypothermia or an afterlife?
