@mrjamesob.bsky.social will James defend journalism , or throw it on the bonfire like Jabba Ferrari has so gleefully done this morning?

@lbcwatchuk.bsky.social Quelle Suprise!
Nick Ferrari, The Quisling envoy to LBC full on wading into Auntie Beeb with gusto.
At no point does he make any effort to protect journalists or British sovereignty against the Mango Grifter.
I guess I shouldn't expect any more from ex Daily Fail reject.

That the UK - one of the architects of this fund, designed to save the world’s forests - is now refusing to put any money into it is frankly shameful. Starmer’s claim that he still continues to back the fund is meaningless without resources - so much for climate leadership

UK train attack: next time a train company tries to save a few quid by claiming that train guards aren't needed, remember this attack, county lines, train harassment. We need active, well paid, empowered train guards, who know their job. Not Fat Controller profit; Public safety priorities

Privatisation of UK industries is driving cost of living crisis, says Greens leader Zack Polanski calls mass privatisation a β€˜failed experiment’ as report finds it has cost UK households Β£250 a year more

The Conservatives started this experiment.

But Labour are fully on board too.

Brexit screwed our economy so monumentally that Starmer has to appease this facist arsehole or lose even more.
We will be paying the price for Farage’s fantasy for decades unless we wake up and reject right wing and popularist politics completely.

This means that if the right wins the next election – whether as Reform, Conservative, or as Reform-Conservative coalition or alliance – UK-EU relations would go in a radically different direction. Certainly even the limited the rapprochement of the Labour reset would be abandoned, and very probably there would be an attempt, impractical and disastrous as it would be, at substantial divergence from EU regulations. Those who hold anti-Brexit views and who also say that Labour is β€˜no different’ to Brexiters, or has itself fully embraced Brexitism, should reflect on that.

But the Brexitism of the political right also matters now, in several ways. It continues, partly because of its dominance of the media, to make Labour extremely cautious and defensive, even about its limited reset ambitions, to the extent of barely mentioning them or its β€˜alignment’ policy. Crucially, it means that the EU will be cautious about making agreements with the UK, since these might be rescinded after the next election. It certainly means there is no realistic possibility of a fresh referendum, on whether to join the EU.

It’s vital to understand that Brexitism is flourishing quite independently of the fact that a clear majority of the public think it was wrong to leave the EU. Indeed, this is one of the key reasons why understanding the politics of Brexit now means understanding how what was once about the process and effects of leaving the EU has now morphed into something related to that, but different: Brexitism. Charting and explaining that will be the central focus of this re-titled blog.

Nigel Farage uses private company to pay less tax on GB News earnings Exclusive: Reform leader’s use of personal services firm is a practice criticised across the political spectrum

β€œFarage claimed last year to have β€œbought a house” in his constituency but the property is actually owned in the name of his partner, meaning he legally avoided higher-rate stamp duty on the purchase of an additional home – given he already owns other properties”

Unfortunately like all Rectum UK pro-fossil fuel β€œClimate Change Deniers”, they question the existence of climate change, claiming natural cycles are the cause, downplaying the role of human activity, and argue against the severity or urgency of the issue.

In layman’s terms…they talk utter Bollocks
