19.10.2025 14:00 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Ah yes. I have 2 cameras on my cargo bike and also often think I need a headcam...
... thing is, you can so often detect phone driving just through slightly odd behaviour!
Douglas Barrowman and Michelle Mone's company, PPE Medpro, has just been ordered to refund the Government £122m from a PPE contract.
There are two very odd things about PPE Medpro that may affect the odds of the Government ever getting that £122m...

“what we’ve got to do is build between the places people care about: from their homes to their shops, to their place of worship, to the school and so on. We’ve got to think about that in a really serious way.”

I often see the massive Drax liveried trains, presumably full of chopped down trees to be burnt.
This is not an environmentally friendly or low carbon process and needs to stop.
It feels like fraud basically.

It's fascinating how readily the media will run the same old "Entitled people demand free stuff" story without realising that that's the story

Want to kill someone? Use a car & get a very low sentence
Well this made me LOL 😂
21.04.2025 16:08 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Commentators seem to be focusing in on potholes. To me the standout issue is the extra damage to people! Pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers at greater risk
#SupremelyUnnecessaryVehicle
Excellent editorial here.
An SUV causes 16 times as much road damage as a regular car.
They're way more dangerous in collisions or if one hits a pedestrian or cyclist.
They have no redeeming factors and 99%+ are just ego wagons for their drivers. Tax them to hell

The criminal justice system in the UK is a joke
Cartoon noting the irony that car infrastructure is commonly considered a public investment, and public transit infrastructure is often attacked as a wasteful subsidy, when the opposite is actually true.
"Public investment" vs "Wasteful Subsidy." The only problem with this clever Singer cartoon is that some people might actually not get that it’s sarcastically illustrating the incorrect perception problem, NOT telling the truth.
Just in case it actually needs to be said, the truth is the opposite.
Thought this was a mayoral decision that had already happened
01.03.2025 19:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Fuel duty & the future of motoring taxation are arguably the biggest policy issues in transport - impacting all parts of the UK.
But DfT, devolved nations, local government and the public have no say in deciding how to solve these linked challenges fairly & effectively.
This has to change.

01.03.2025 18:36 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0We need to nuance this post by looking at who gets hurt. The deaths linked to older drivers in the post below are disproportionately the older drivers killing themselves; whereas younger drivers disproportionately kill their passengers and other road users

Fuck you, Thames Water, and fuck the regulator that thinks this is an acceptable bill increase to hit in one go.
