The chart illustrates the rapid growth of solar and wind power compared to other energy sources. Solar achieved 1000 TWh in just 8 years (2013–2021) and is projected to reach 2000 TWh in only 3 years. Wind also grew quickly, while gas, coal, nuclear, and hydro took decades to scale similarly. This highlights the accelerating shift toward renewable energy.
