What a weird post, are you saying that nuclear doesn't exist? China currently operates 58 nuclear reactors and is building 44 more, totaling 102 facilities. At this pace, it will surpass all other nations to become the world's top nuclear power operator by 2030. They can build them on shed/budget.

Ug. Any electric car can run on power from a nuclear plant. Sure, nuclear is crazy to build, but it's our planet at stake and we need to get off fossil now. . . nuclear needs to be part of that solution if you consider all factors.

Not that simple, if you look at capacity factor, lifespan, land footprint, siting restrictions (need sun for solar, wind for wind, and you need to be able to get the electricity to the pop ctrs), then nuclear makes the most sense. I'm for anything but fossil, but the only real solution is nuclear.

Unfortunately, I think coral reefs are the walking dead. Even if the world decided today to impose a carbon tax, start building nuclear plants as fast as pos, etc., we couldn't turn things around fast enough.
