A good friend has lymphoedema from cancer treatment but it’s her legs that are affected (I think it’s her right leg). And in her case compression doesn’t help. She did tell me why but it was years ago & I’ve forgotten the details.

Personal opinion. It’s only good at low tide so you can walk on the firm sand. Otherwise it’s a long walk even if it’s short because it’s hard work so seems longer.

Still, someone in the UK found your poem. That’s pretty cool in my view.

We’re rural so miss that but opening weekend of duck season isn’t good. We had one dog who hated it & had to be let in the house & he’d hide in the toilet. His brother couldn’t care less

1200 people attended so that’s quite an audience listening to your words. Watched on IG the reading & I can see why they thought that poem fitted with their festival.

NZ First are proposing total ban on public sales of fireworks. Finally they are doing something good. Feel for your dog

Mushrooms will do that. They can give off quite a bit of moisture too so it colours other ingredients.

Tend to fry them first in omelettes etc because the Scotsman doesn’t like them firm. If in a stew or similar don’t bother.
Offspring only eats them raw in salads etc. If you like them a bit firmer them don’t bother

I think that’s the problem. And we are in a small town so people don’t necessarily go every month. We did the one just before Christmas last year & that was good but it would be people looking for gifts.

We were at a local monthly artisans market running BBQ to raise funds for local RDA. It was really quiet. It wasn’t worth the 5 hrs. I’m just relieved I didn’t defrost most of the sausages (they were wild pork made by local butcher).

Guess it shows for every nut job there’s someone who really appreciates what you do. Hopefully positives outweigh the negatives

No biggie. Worked with his sister for 10 yrs. Funny thing is when we do AML/CFT proof of ID drivers licence on its own isn’t enough. Ok if have credit/debit card with name on it as well. Firearms licence acceptable though.

Had the same issues with colleagues brother after their dad died. He’s never had a drivers license or passport. Had to apply for a Kiwi Access card. He’s autistic & not very social so I ended up signing as someone who knew him.
