Midwesterner. Skeptical, particularly of "economic anxiety." Trying to stay open-minded but generally, they are who we thought they were. Michigan fan. Dems need to reckon w fact Trump won 48% of Latino voters. Very disrespectful to Beck.

Let's hand out some suspensions!
Moussa - 3 games
Bridges - 1 game
Stewart - 2-3 games (1 for leaving bench; 1-2 for repeat)
Nothing should happen to Duren, except maybe a small fine for the push. Moussa started it, then (lightly) head butted, then crashed out.
Post a banger that's not in English
(It's 95% French; 5% English -- but I give it a pass for being the greatest moment in heavy metal this century)

Weβve wanted this bridge for years because it will be a boon for our economy. This is another case of the President undermining Michigan businesses and workers.

I clicked around & found the story it's based, and it more correctly explains the "political statement he was expected to make" was explicitly anti-Trump, which BB didn't do (he had bigger things on his mind).
Bad job by the social media person. Thx again!
OK, thanks for looking.

09.02.2026 17:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Who is saying this? Not counting Fox News etc as those aren't journalists.
Is anyone from NYT, AP, Reuters, NBC, etc saying this?
All I'm seeing is a lot of political and cultural discussion of it, but perhaps I am not looking in the (wrong) places.
Don't love the west side of the state stepping forward to do this while the east side lets a huge opportunity go to waste, but good on them. The billionaires out that way are bad, but they invest in the community, that's for sure.

They were a buzzsaw.
A more realistic interview that I look forward to (that could actually happen) is his next appearance on Squawk Box. I am sure Joe will have some pointed questions about Lutnick's financial dealings and what the average investor can learn from associating & going into business with the right people.
09.02.2026 16:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Correctly calls out Trump, keeps his job, and gets six figures from a GoFundMe?
A legend. I hope he puts the money to good use, both for himself and the community.
That gives you no indication whether it is slop or not. He's tall and lanky.
More likely, it's just the CEO of Ring walking with a real dog in front of a green screen to save costs / control the environment (which causes certain "uncanny" effects, but is not AI slop).
youtu.be/r_iT-gMQTHg?...
True, but "elite" is more than one game, or even a couple. Otherwise, Joe Flacco (to go with the original joke) would be elite.
Darnold is in interesting place. There hasn't been another SB QB like him. He's not Brady / Mahomes / Stafford / etc. He's not even Flacco. But he's definitely not Dilfer.
Final #SuperBowlLX post: the Pats are very well-coached, and that w some good scheduling went all the way to the SB
I thought they were the worst SB team since the 2006 Bears and that was about right
(Caveat: only good teams makes the SB. The Pats have a legit D, and an all-pro QB. Just not enough)
No.
He joins the ranks of Dilfer (who he's way better than), very late-era Peyton Manning (ditto) and Nick Foles
But who knows? He's in his prime. He has join the ranks of Joe Flacco yet.
We were right.

He had the worst playoffs for a Super Bowl-winning QB since Peyton Manning.
(That's a true statement, and really doesn't mean anything. Almost by definition, you win a Super Bowl, your QB did very good to great. It's rare to win with a late-era Peyton or a Dilfer)
