I was just thinking about something similar the other day: there’s only one William the Conqueror. Lots of English, French, and Scottish kings and rulers who invaded, defeated, and killed lots of people. But it’s a heck of a reputation burnishing to have the appellation “the conqueror” attached.

This is his pinned tweet: "For folks who don't know me, I am a complete idiot."
That's fair warning to ignore him, but it's up to you.

I live near Ann Arbor. A country artist, who I had never heard of (and apparently just became popular in the past 3 years) just sold out Michigan Stadium -- over 110,000 people, the largest concert in the history of the US.
I hope he's doing OK, but I understand why a lot turn to alcohol & drugs.

The Age
Caleb Ragland voted for Donald Trump three times and doesn’t regret it. But he is about to plant a field of crops that China loves to buy – and he is very worried.
Caleb Ragland voted from Trump three times!
All he is doing is advocating for a bigger government check, b/c his guy Trump sure as heck isn't going to let him sell soybeans to open markets.

Those two guys absolutely love each other and still have their performer's itch to scratch, so I hope this goes well.
That said, I really hope they figure out what to do w Getty's voice, as he was struggling at the 40 year mark, and R50 is going to be a challenge (and not just the early stuff).

Not the point of the picture, but how terrible does that hoodie look?
Some of the best colors in college sports and it's looks in that camo version like an off-brand being sold at Cabela's.

The media trots out the "deplorable" comment from a decade ago to castigate the left. Once a week now Trump implies that the military should destroy democrats, and it is just how things are.

Why not say “Trump-supporting Detroit legislator attends…”
Karen Whitsett gets along better with Matt Hall than leadership in her own party. That’s her defining feature, along with the fact she’s from Detroit and somehow still has a (relatively small) constituency among the apathetic voting base.

Planting the trees is great. I see lots of cities doing that.
What I often don’t see is cities spending the money to take care of them—watering, pruning, etc. I’d love to hear more stories about how that happens (e.g., budget; staffing)

I’m OK with this answer. Because it’s the truth.
Some bad things happened, they had an impact on the team, and Franklin didn’t do his job getting his squad ready to overcome those obstacles & come out and play from the jump. It was his responsibility and he failed.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

Yep. Like I'll need evidence the army is "woke" in a way that has hurt their capacity to do the role our nation needs them to do.
Because all is see from Noonan et al. is too many black people and women (let alone transgender people) were in the army, and de facto, it underperformed.

It has some good points, but any column that multiple times asserts, without evidence, statements like “our defense structure can’t be the cultural left’s plaything. All of that got out of whack and carried away” can’t be considered very good by me.

Makes sense.
I'm a Tigers fan, and even I realize out of those 4 games, Tigers vs Mariners is easily the least attractive of the options.

I don't know -- he is on CNBC like every other day, and his level of suck up & praise for Trump is literally at North Korea levels.
He may say some stuff that Trump doesn't like, but Trump gives a lot of rope for useful true believers.

This...is easy to follow, for me?
1) Her main issue is against genocide. So Cuomo, rightly, is out.
2) Then she is against taxpayer funded help for immigrants. So that means she's for Sliwa, who's very unlikely to win. So she looks at Mamdani, but doesn't like his taxpayer funded policies.

I remain astonished that lawsuits haven't ground this to a halt -- it's Disney,Paramount, etc: all supposed fearsome corporations with elite lawyers.
The King Estate has kept a lockdown on the "I Have a Dream" speech for years, yet this image & likeness assault on the man is somehow legal?
