It's royalty free and there's already six, generic manufacturers lined up.

To Whom It May Concern,

I became aware of your recent article β€œTrump posts fake video of Obama in jail, declares β€˜treason’ and β€˜crime of the century’ in AI-driven blitz” which contains a completely fabricated quote from me. The article attributes the following to me regarding Donald Trump’s AI video depicting Obama’s arrest:

β€œThis deepfake is political disinformation at its worst,” said Nina Jankowicz, disinformation analyst and former executive director of the US Disinformation Governance Board. β€œIt erodes public trust, damages reputations, and poses serious threats to democratic stability.”

I did not say this. In fact, I have not issued any comment related to this Trump AI video to your outlet or the public. The manufactured quote is incorrect and irrelevant, and it negatively impacts my professional reputation.

Please remove the false quotation and append a correction to the article, stating that a prior version of this article included a quote falsely attributed to Nina Jankowicz.

Sincerely,

Nina Jankowicz

Can't believe I had to issue a request like this, but apparently news outlets are printing completely fabricated quotes now

Gaza: Doctors Under Attack review – this crucial film is the stuff of nightmares. But the world needs to see it The film the BBC refused to air shows the targeting, detainment and torture of medics in Gaza. Its relentless timeline of horrors will never leave you

It has been a long, slow decline. But this is the moment the BBC died as a public service broadcaster. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Are SSDs for recently ingested stuff no longer a thing, or just omitted for brevity?

Interesting! Is there a way to filter down the data that’s ingested? Eg if I’m interested in traces that touched a small part of my system, is enhancing going to pull in everything and bust through my event allowance?

27.06.2025 10:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Not sure I'd want it to restrict the time pickers as that often feels a bit clunky/a source of bugs?

Would expect to see affordances on the graph to show that 0s are not "real" and indicate missing data, but a dataset marker for start/end range could be a reasonable MVP?

25.06.2025 21:30 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I think I'd expect the time picker to warn me if I queried outside of that window, and starting a new query builder would make it easy to jump to the imported time range.

25.06.2025 21:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Interesting…. Is that all hidden from the user when it’s loading from within the current retention period, or does querying outside of that range yield a β€œreturn to the original dataset” error?

24.06.2025 22:13 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Not gonna lie, this sounds real fucking cool! Presumably it dedupes against already ingested data? Is it permanently loaded into HC, or just temporarily?

πŸ’― if you have to jump 50+ lines back and forth between the testcase and the body to work out how it’s going to run, then it’s a bad test.

Too true. We had some builders up repointing the walls last year and when they got to the chimney (directly above the neighbour’s bench) they found it could be pushed over

I mean, Tuple has also been around for years too (~2019), and lets you use apps other than VSCode. Liveshare is good, but it can be frustrating when you’re trying to show something outside of the editor.

It’s such a great app! It feels like you’re sat next to your pair - completely different class to screen sharing in zoom/meet, and has nice touches such as obscuring sensitive apps like 1Password from your pair

Parking fines: Drivers taken to court over car park keying errors Drivers say they are being unfairly "fined" due to problems with parking payment machines.

There was something on the news recently about similar β€œmisbehaving machine” issues www.bbc.com/news/article..., seems wild they can be so obviously broken. Have you also seen money saving expert’s article on fines? www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/priv...

I heard it may be possible to cancel early by first switching to a different subscription, then cancelling within the 14 day refund period of the new subscription. Worth verifying first, but could get you out of that prison.
