A quality of Bathams Bitter and cheese & onion cob at the Great Western, Wolverhampton definitely an improvement on a dismal performance by Burnley at Villa Park this afternoon.

It was great to catch up with Rob, Pete and Phil who I shared a house with when we were at Swansea University from 1973 - 1976. It's only taken 49 years for us all to get together again!

Having a nostalgic crawl around some of my favourite Edinburgh pubs from the 90's and noughties when I was actually working for a living. It was a tough gig being despatched up here but somebody had to do it.

Made the connection at Long Preston with 2 minutes to spare. Unsurprisingly, I was the only person mad enough to change there.

Just setting off to Edinburgh via a circuitous route taking in some epic scenery via Warrington, Lancaster, Long Preston (4 minute connection) Settle and Carlisle. What can possibly go wrong?

Today we said farewell to our beautiful Maisy. She was a pain in the bum at times but was a gentle soul who was a massive part of our lives for over fifteen years. We will miss her so much.

Us Clarets get everywhere. I've been to Ieper but it's not mine. A place I intend to revisit sometime.

As a Burnley fan I always enjoyed our visits to Woodison rather than the other place across Stanley Park. Looking forward to cheering the mighty Clarets at the new place next season.
