Regardless, I don’t agree with the criticism and think it’s beside the point

I think critics want something more specific than “stop it.” What would “no kings” look like exactly?Withdrawal the National Guard? Abolish ICE? Fire Hegseth, Miller, Noem, Patel? All of those and more? Only some of those? Release the Epstein files? Not sure (though for me they’re a start!)

I see a lot of (valid) criticism of the No Kings protests for being unclear in its demands & supported by centrist libs. What this misses I think is the pure possibility these protests bring forth, the merge ding connections and transformations that emerge when standing in solidarity with others.

Israel didn’t release “Palestinian prisoners.” They released Palestinian HOSTAGES, among them including doctors, nurses, teachers, and hundreds of children.

We have armed secret police kidnapping people off the street based on the color of their skin.

When we win: we will haul them before a Senate committee. The masks will come off. There will be consequences.

I’m hearing about testimony from Palestinian survivors that Israel is now paying treacherous Palestinian mercenaries to continue to kidnap and kill other Palestinians even as the IOF is packing up from the negotiations. Israel is always finding new levels of depravity.
