When Burn is LB, Gordon impacted x 3... 1. expected to get back & cover more as teams target burn's lack of pace (impacts energy levels) 2. quality & promptness of passes to him from burn is poor (more easily pressed) 3. he gets very little attacking support from Burn (easy to double up on him)

You can't count any signing as successful/ unsuccessful 12 games into a season.

The full back situation has crippled us today. Not burn's fault, but he's extremely limited in his distribution & attacking output. That's not to excuse the overall performance, poor passing and lack of energy. Hall needs to show be can play week in week out or we'll have to look to buy a left back

Id prefer them to do something different from the bowl style stadiums. Go back to a predominantly 4 sided but with corners filled in and with steep terracing. Seats close to the pitch. Anything like Wembley, Emirates etc that prioritise corporate will destroy any remaining atmosphere.

Probably the best player I've seen at St James'. His touch and close control were unbelievable.

If he makes Elanga and Woltemade into better players, then I think we're at the point where players are asking to play for him. Then the likes of Ekitike, who have the scope to be elite level players but are a step below will come to Newcastle.

Just need to look at what he turned Schar, joelinton, murphy into to see how good a coach he is. Then how he turned Burn, Gordon and Hall into England players... and then turned Isak into one of the best strikers in Europe. Eddie Howe undoubtedly making our recruiters look good too with his coaching and integration. Him having a major say in who/ what type of player we sign also a big factor. Spurs sign players then expect their manager to do something with them, rather than let the manager have much of a say, if any.

I'm pretty certain Arsenal fans didn't have the same view of 'getting the ball into the box' when it was Sam Allerdyce's Bolton doing it against them. That's football though... it's tribal. And people are going to change opinions when their team starts doing the thing they previously hated.

You put their names in a bucket behind one name and in front of another name and they'll think their in a queue when they're not. Then when the names change round because of different priorities, they'll kick off.

When you have an underfunded free at the point of use service, you're going to get people abusing it and long wait times at peak periods. A lot of people use a&e when they don't need to. Probably the same people complaining about waiting.

Ah okay. Point still stands. Seeing your name move up a list still not going to get you seen quicker.

Why do you need to bother the receptionist if you get seen when you get seen? This is exactly why they wouldn't give you an estimated time, because you'd be bothering the receptionist 1 minute after the estimated time.

You might get bumped by others in the same priority. What are you going to do with the information if they give you it anyway? It won't get you seen any quicker. And of you're in A&E, it's that serious that you will wait as long as it takes.

Airplane departures are a bit more predictable. A&E constantly prioritise based on what comes in. Imagine the amount of complaints if people were given a time but then that changed 6 times due to doctors having to re-prioritise you.
