This is true, but I think there are tiers. I can’t think of any that I especially care for as people, but the ones who treat the team as their business are worse to me than the ones who treat the team as their (wildly lucrative) toy.

The Blue Jays, Brewers and Mariners are all very unobjectionable to me. The high percentage of unobjectionables in the LDS this year is what inspired the question. Many of the perennially bad teams are objectionable to me for pocketing revenue sharing money and/or being so bad at getting good.

I found the good Royals teams of 2015-16 somewhat annoying in their style of play and the discourse they inspired, but mostly I agree. KC is a quietly great baseball town and their stadium is wildly underrated.

Yeah I think it might be the Brewers. Top of my head, only major objection I can think of is that they were Selig’s team, but they’re a small market team that makes an earnest effort and has little to show for it, plus they have the best logo in sports.

What is the least objectionable MLB team? There are marks against basically every single one, but keeping all your personal connections aside, which team bothers you the least?

True but consider this: 1) the Brewers are clearly the team to root for in the NL and 2) Chicago, after the 2016 NLCS, was the drunkest place I have ever seen in my life, and I want to watch some ICE dudes get vomited on. I mean I guess Milwaukee will get pretty drunk too but it was something else.

After every MLB postseason round, teams should be reseeded based on how well I could tolerate them winning. No way the Dodgers and Phillies should be matched up this early when a wholly unobjectionable team is guaranteed to be eliminated in the Mariners-Tigers series.

A good corn dog is one of the world’s best things to eat and a bad corn dog is one of the world’s worst things to eat, and unless you’re making the corn dogs from scratch, you really have no way of knowing which way it’ll go until you bite in. Every corn dog is basically lunch roulette.

It's dumb that we don't include postseason stats in a guy's career stats. Why the hell not? I get not factoring them into regular season records and awards but why act like they didn't happen?
