My editorial approach has always been pretty simple:
1. Is this a good research question?
2. Has an appropriate method been used to answer it?
And that is about it.

In support of your claim, OED gives first use to mean "A list of things that a person hopes to experience or achieve during his or her lifetime" as 2006, citing a promotional article on the film's production on UPI Newswire (Nexis) dated 29 June, 2006. www.oed.com/dictionary/b...

06.08.2025 10:53 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Text: Whatβs the best cure for depression? Ryan, County Armagh Itβs tempting to give you a funny response to this, but depression ainβt funny β Iβve suffered from it. What I did, and what I recommend you do, is talk to your GP about it. Personally, Iβm on a low dose of an antidepressant called Zoloft (sertraline), and it does the job. You hear a lot of people say that antidepressants just put a sticking plaster on the problem, instead of solving the cause. They may have a point, but itβs easy to say that if you ainβt depressed. The big problem for me with antidepressants is that they affected my sex life. Trying to get down to some action these days is like trying to raise the Titanic. I suppose it would be depressing if I werenβt on antidepressants. As it is, I can live with it.
βDepression ainβt funny.β
Wasnβt aware of this until the Sunday Times reprinted it. Ozzy Osbourneβs advice to a reader with depression. Rarely seen someone talking about #mentalhealth and the pros/cons of antidepressants with such an amazing combination of empathy, clarity, frankness, and humour.
